Our visitors exceeded last year’s numbers, making the day even more special. The weather was kind to us, allowing all our planned events to go ahead smoothly.

Ponies, Participants, and Achievements

The participants and ponies showcased incredible skills in the arena, delighting our visitors with their performances. It was a proud moment for all involved as these talented individuals have recently achieved personal goals. The Open Morning served as the perfect platform to exhibit their progress to their family and friends.

Celebrating Achievements

A highlight of the day was the presentation of awards. Annabelle Rafter rightfully earned The Ashley Cup for Most Improved Rider, showcasing dedication and progress. The title of Volunteer of the Year was bestowed upon Chris Lewis, recognizing their selfless contributions and commitment.

Dog Show Debut

Our first-ever dog show was a tremendous hit, attracting a plethora of adorable furry friends. The interactive side shows added to the fun, with the Hobby Horse activity proving popular among all family members, even the dads!

Tasty Treats

Our refreshment tent was a hub of activity throughout the morning, offering a variety of beverages and delectable cakes. A special thank you to N W Read Butchers for their generous support, ensuring our guests were well-fed with delicious burgers, sausages, and buns.

Capturing Memories

The Alton Camera Club's presence added an extra layer of vibrancy to the event, capturing the essence of the beautiful morning. Kelvin and Andrew's photography skills immortalized the day's excitement, with sneak peeks of these captivating images coming soon on our social media platforms!

Community Spirit and Success

Not only did the morning raise over £1,000, but it also provided our visitors with an enriching experience, allowing them to connect with our ponies, volunteers, and participants. The sense of community and support was truly heartwarming.

In conclusion, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a part in making this Open Morning a success! Thank you all for your support and enthusiasm.
